We offer a PPO Health Insurance Plan to our fulltime employees. The amount you pay each pay period, if applicable, will be paid with pre-tax dollars before federal, state, and social security taxes are withheld. If enrolled, your coverage begins on the first day of the month following a 30-day waiting period.
401(k) Retirement Plan
To help you plan for your financial security in retirement, we offer a 401(k) tax-deferred savings plan. The hospital also provides dollar-for-dollar matching up to 4% of your compensation that you contribute to the Plan. All employees are 100% vested upon enrollment.
Paid Time Off
You will accrue paid time off for vacations, personal business, holidays and minor illnesses. You may use your paid time off to receive pay for absences from work.
Extended Sick Leave
You will accrue extended sick leave for employee’s own illness or injury. You may use your extended sick leave to receive pay for absences from work.
Group Term Life Insurance
We offer a group term life insurance plan for all fulltime employees. This benefit is 1 x your annual salary basic life & AD&D coverage with a $15,000 minimum. Employees can purchase additional group life insurance, with spouse and child coverage also available. If enrolled, your coverage begins on the first day of the month following a 90-day waiting period.
Voluntary Insurance Deductions
Employees can purchase dental insurance, vision insurance and various supplemental insurance products including cancer, sickness, accident, intensive care insurance on a pre-tax basis. Short-term disability can be either pre-tax or post-tax. Life insurance is post-tax. If enrolled, your coverage begins on the first day of the month following a 90-day waiting period.
Flexible Spending Account
Our Flexible Benefit Plan allows fulltime employees to set aside money for the purpose of paying certain expenses with pre-tax dollars. Funds for this purpose are designated during open enrollment and deducted directly from paychecks. Funds may be used for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses or dependent day care expenses.
After satisfying an introductory waiting period, fulltime employees are eligible to apply for reimbursement for courses related to your employment or those required while participating in a degree program offered by an accredited college or university. CHS provides up to $1,500 per year for formal education opportunities related to your career development.
Employee Assistance Program
You may take advantage of Crittenden Health Systems’ Employee Connect Assistance Program for yourself and family members. 24-hour assistance by highly trained professional counselors is available to you and your family members via toll-free number and web. The counselors are available to help you and your family members with personal problems, legal concerns, financial concerns, and family and care giving concerns.
Our hospital offers a variety of convenient, fresh, health and delicious foods in our cafeteria. Prices are discounted for employees.
Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment Compensation
Crittenden Health Systems provides Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment Compensation as defined by state law.
